About the BSG
Integrative structural biology in the UK, as a special interest group of the British Crystallographic Association.
The Biological Structures Group brings together people who determine, model and use the structures of biological molecules, whatever the technique.
The BSG is one of the subject groups of the British Crystallographic Association (opens in a new tab) (BCA), the UK’s national association for crystallography, formed in 1982 and today counting over 600 members across academia and industry. Alongside the BSG, the BCA has chemical, physical and industrial crystallography groups and an Early Stage Crystallographers Group, and runs the annual BCA Spring Meeting, where the BSG organises sessions and presents its prizes.
